The journeyman tile saw has the most advanced drive system available - the pulley and cog belt is a high torque drive system. The bearings are double sealed for use in wet and dirty environments. The drive system is ultra efficient and delivers 20% more horsepower to the blade than conventional V-belt drives.

The design of the slide tray and frame provide rigid alignment between the blade and slide tray. The saw is consistently accurate. There are no adjustments required.

Little or no maintenance is required because of the efficient design. There are no slides to grease or wheels to wobble.
